A police command has reported the arrest of 80 suspects during operations conducted between October 1 and 7. The arrests were part of efforts to combat various criminal activities, including armed robbery and vandalism. Recovered items include firearms, ammunition, and vehicles, as well as other exhibits such as mobile phones and illicit drugs.

The recovered firearms consist of Beretta pistols and locally made pistols, along with live ammunition. Other seized items include battle axes, cutlasses, and a toy gun. The police also recovered vandalised items and several sacks of illicit drugs.
