A former care worker has been given a lengthy prison term for committing serious crimes. The individual, who is originally from Nigeria, will spend time behind bars for burglary and robbery offences. These crimes were committed against people who were elderly or vulnerable, including some who had previously received care from the perpetrator.

The perpetrator's sentence is to be served in two parts, with the terms running one after the other. After serving a portion of the sentence, the individual will be deported, as is standard procedure for someone of their nationality in this situation. A restraining order is also in place to protect the victims from further harm.
