Mobile Network Operators have made progress in expanding network coverage. They have deployed 8,526 additional sites, which is about 70 per cent of their commitments. This represents an increase from the approximately 5,000 sites reported previously.

The Nigerian Communications Commission disclosed this information after its 110th Board meeting. The commission also expressed concern over fibre cuts, which affect telecommunications services.
