The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has recovered a significant amount of money for a victim of a disputed property transaction. A total of N107 million was handed over to the victim through his counsel. This recovery follows a petition submitted to the commission alleging false pretence, conspiracy, and extortion. The petition was filed by the victim's legal representative, Babatunde Oni, SAN, on behalf of the petitioner.

The disputed transaction involved a parcel of land and several individuals, including Adeola Ibrahim and Bolanle Bamgbose. The victim had been interested in purchasing the land, but the transaction ultimately resulted in a loss of N167.575 million.
