The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria is seeking priority funding for a proposed trucking corridor network. This network is envisioned as part of a national Compressed Natural Gas infrastructure, comprising 100 stations.

The Association has welcomed a directive to establish additional CNG fuelling stations, which would bring the total to 1,000. It has also commended recognition of the need for cheaper energy to lead to lower transport fares.

Further details on the proposed network and funding are available from the Association's statement, signed by its National President and National Secretary.
